Get more juice out of your monte speakers..

So guys want more juice out of your speakers?? Here's how you do it..

I will not be liable for any problems after following this tutorial, especially if you damage the speaker 

Dial * # 7092463 * #  to open the internals menu..

This is what the internal menu looks like..

Press "3 - TEST DEVICE"
This menu will appear...

Press 5, which corresponds to audio. You get this..

Once there, press 3 for SPK config (if you want to increase the sound of ur headphones then select 2.EAR config)
You get this..

Press 1, which corresponds Wave/Mp3 SPK. You'll get this..

Press 5, which corresponds SPK MP3. You will get this..

Press 3, which corresponds to SKP EXT_AMP MP3 INPUT. 

Press - key on the keyboard...

When u press -,READ changes to WRITE. Tap in the writing area, then type a number between 0 and 14, with 0 being the original setting (the lowest), 14 being the highest.

Press OK, you get a black screen,

Then press OK and you will see this..

Now just Play the music and see the increase in the volume!!
Please note that the setting of 14 is not recommended,even volume of 6 is stronger than its original volume..At 14,the sizzling sound is not great for listening to music.

EDIT: In any case avoid going to a level of volume or the speaker crackles! 

IMPORTANT: On restarting the fone,the settings get automatically reset to normal..

Adding to locked games..

Connect ur mobile via usb and select the option samsung kies then open TK File explorer
set the com port and baud rate
(available device manager->modem->samsung mobile modem)

you can find which com port your phone is using following this

1- go to device manager
2- select Modems
3- select samsung monte modem
4- go to the tap modem and here is the port in the first line

as shown in this picture


Notice that I am connected to COM5 you may get another number do not freak out ,not yet anyway  ;D ;D ;D

take the values of the first Picture and enter them as follows
you can get this menu from the menu bar

settings then select COM



go to EXE\Java\Locked Games
create a new folder with the game/software name
now select the jar and jad files from the folders and download




Must do after transfer

now disconnect ur mobile
and type this in keypad
*#7092463*# (*#3971258*# in some models)
"Internals" appears
goto "5 DB Management"->"Update DB"->"1 JAV

Use Monte's front camera to take pictures

Have you ever wondered whether you can take pictures using Monte's front 3G camera?
Well the answer is yes you can..
Follow these steps..

1) Dial *#7353#
2) Select VT Camera
3) Press camera button to click photos
4) Photos are saved in your phone memory's image folder..
Simple..

Calibrate monte's touchscreen??

Has your monte recentlylost touch?? as in you touch somewhere and the phone registers touch somewhere else?? or rather you want a more accurate touch??
Then do this..

1) Dial *#877#
2) Tap exactly in the center of the cross..the accurate,the better..
 it will look something like dis..This is not monte's screen..its only for how it should look..

3) If you are very accurate,u will get a green indication or it will give a red indication.
4) The cross moves to all the corners..Tap the center
5) Now wen its done, just restart the phone and enjoy better touch and a more accurate one..

Make your games Fullscreen/Landscape

Follow the steps..
1-open the jar file on your pc with winrar 

2- go to the folder META-INF

3- open the file MANIFEST.ME using any editor

...ADD THIS LINE TO IT
For full screen : MIDlet-Touch-Support: true
For Landscape: MIDlet-ScreenMode: Landscape
save the file by pressing Ctlr +S on your keyboard then winrar asks you update archive
you say yes and here you go you just made your app full screen

And you are done!! install the jar file and enjoy the games in fullscreen and landscape!!

How to make the most out of your monte browser.

Not happy with your browser??


WELL WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE WAY MY BROWSER FUNCTIONED SO I DECIDED TO DO SOME TWEAKING!!!

first i typed *#7092463*#
went in to module settings
then BROWSER
THEN UAgent
since I’m using xeje1
my uagent is
SAMSUNG-GT-S5620/S5620XEJE1 SHP/VPP/R5 DOLFIN/1.5 Nextreaming SMM-MMS/1.2.0 profile/MIDP-2.1 configuration/CLDC-1.1
 
i replaced it with the following:

SAMSUNG-GT-S8500/S8500XEJE1 SHP/VPP/R5 Dolfin/2.0 Nextreaming SMM-MMS/1.2.0 profile/MIDP-2.1 configuration/CLDC-1.1

then edit uaprof url from
the one on the phone to 

http://wap.samsungmobile.com/uaprof/GT-S8500_2G.rdf  ---- for UAPROF URL 2G

AND

http://wap.samsungmobile.com/uaprof/GT-S8500_3G.rdf------- for UAPROF URL 3G


and then REBOOT..
Ul see the difference!!!
This tweak make the website think that you are not using a monte but a samsung galaxy to view the website!!!So it offers you a better experience!!!!
